The new realities of globalization demand a bold new vision of management education. The 21st Century executive must possess a deep awareness and understanding of global business issues, fluency in global strategic thinking, and a comprehensive command of core business and interdisciplinary skills. Team-based decision-making across diverse cultures and time zones, expertise in the use of interactive communication technologies, and enhanced cross-cultural interpersonal and leadership skills are the prerequisites of 21st Century management.

The College of Business and Economics at California State University, East Bay, has been at the forefront of developing a unique model of management education that can prepare executives for the unprecedented challenges of today's globalized economy. Since the early nineties, we have embarked on a focused strategy of providing undergraduate and graduate executive education for managers in "lead" countries across the globe. We have expanded the expertise of our faculty and attracted students from around the world to enhance our undergraduate offerings with an infusion of international dimensions.
